Hard, challenging, incredibly beautiful, that's how the Montafon Totale Trail describes itself, and in 2026 it celebrated its 10th edition. Four distances from 10 to 45 kilometers, up to 3,780 meters of vertical gain, from the start in Schruns to the finish line at Nova Stoba above 2,000 meters.

For Silvretta Montafon I covered the event as a one-man crew, on foot in the race terrain, right where the race is actually decided: on the steep climbs, the technical trails, the finish line. As an active trail runner myself, I move fast and independently through high-alpine terrain, capturing moments that stay out of reach from the sidelines.

The result of a single production day: six fully edited videos, from live coverage on race day to a recap that carries the anniversary edition well beyond the event itself.
